Organized by the Human Rights Institute and the Institute of International Affairs at the University of Iceland in co-operation with the Law Faculty of the University of Reykjavik.

The aim of the Conference is to discuss how constitutional systems of members states of the European Union, notably Nordic states, are affected by the membership of the Union.
The Conference will focus on the constitutionalisation of the EU legal order and its main components, the difference between the two constitutional systems and what they have in common, as well as the consequences for democracy.
